Need for Speed (abrégée NFS) est une série de jeux vidéo de course publié par Electronic Arts qui a commencée en 1994 dont les épisodes principaux ont été développés par plusieurs studios dont EA Canada, EA Black Box, Criterion Games, Slightly Mad Studios et Ghost Games. Actuellement, la série comporte vingt-deux épisodes qui sont sortis depuis le début de la série. En 2013, la série a vendue pour tous les épisodes réunis 150 millions d'exemplaires.
